Our engineering department draws up the design and provides the calculations, so the elevation meets all the applicable requirements. A raised cabin is not only possible on excavators, but also on cranes or other types of construction machines.

Depending on your wishes and requirements, we will construct different models: a fixed elevation of any size required (with ladder and platform if necessary), a hydraulically adjustable elevation in a standard or extra high design, making a tipping cabin or a combination of the various options. But it is also possible to lower the cabin, or modify the cabin itself – such as widening it or making it explosion-proof. All cabrisers are manufactured by us and built up in our workshops.

Hydraulically adjustable cabrisers

Hydraulically adjustable cabin elevation HPAR-1.5

Very suitable for mobile excavators.

• Vertical displacement of max. 1500 mm
• Very good stability due to type of construction
• Limited installation space required
• Emergency release assembly in cabin and on the machine
• Drop-out protection

Our cabriser, the HPAR 1.5, is ideally suited for mobile excavators, but can of
course also be used on other types of machines. Thanks to a rubber stop that
touches the cabin in the lowest as well as in the highest position, this adjustable
cabriser has an extremely good stability.

Hydraulically adjustable cabin elevation HPAR-2.3

Standard height, recommended for crawler excavators and telecranes.

• Vertical displacement of max. 2300 mm
• Horizontal displacement of max. 700 mm forward
• Optimum stability in all positions
• Transport height remains unchanged (cabin in lowest position)
• Also available with tilt option
• Emergency release assembly in cabin and on the machine
• Drop-out protection

For years we have been producing and supplying the HPAR elevation, a
hydraulically adjustable construction to increase the cab and thus get a better
view of the work. The original cabin is hereby retained. The height adjustment in
any desired position can be controlled from the cabin.

Hydraulically adjustable cabin elevation HPAR-3.0

More visibility height, very suitable for larger excavators.

• Vertical adjustment of max. 3000 mm
• Horizontal displacement of max. 1000 mm ahead
• Compact installation, less than 600 mm
• Very good stability
• Also available with tilt option
• Minimal vibrations
• Emergency release assembly in cabin and on the machine
• Drop-out protection

New in our product range is the HPAR 3.0, a further development of the already
existing cabriser. This new type of cabriser has received even more visibility height
and a narrower installation dimension and than the standard.

Other cabin adjustments

Fixed cabin elevation

A fixed raise can be applied if the cabin always remains in the same position. This
can be the case, for example, in the storage and transshipment sector. A fixed
raise can be made at any desired height and can be delivered with a platform and
a staircase if required. Up to a floor height of 2.50 meters, the elevation can be
carried out with an integrated staircase.

Tipping cabin

• Tiltable in any position between 0 and 30 degrees
• Applicable to every machine
• Also optional with HPAR 2.3 or HPAR 3.0
The cabin can be tilted at any angle to a maximum angle of 30 ° backwards.

Cabin lowering

A cabin lowering can be applied if there is limited space for the machine to move underneath. This can be the case, for example, in sectors where a lot of conveyor belts are used.

The chair-base is adjusted, the roof is lowered and an emergency hatch is placed at the back of the roof. Additional corner protection is also applied to the cab.

An ROPS test is mandatory for a cabin reduction. We can also take care of this.

Quality marks & certificates

All our cabin elevations come with EC type certification. This certification is carried out by us and approved by ‘Notified Body’ Aboma, with the registered body inspecting the following parts:

  • Inspection of the technical construction dossier
  • Inspection of strength calculations
  • Inspection of safety provisions
  • Practical test with overload, at an angle, removing one cylinder, etc.

Based on this EC type inspection, a CE certificate is issued for the cabin elevation. This means you are assured of the necessary legal coverage for the modified machine.

Our elevated ROPS (roll-over protective structures) are also delivered with certification. We are the only company in the Netherlands that has this type certification on its models. In our workshop in Middelburg, we have our own setup for ROPS testing.

We are STEK certified for fitting air-con units.

Service & overhaul

Service and overhaul of your equipment is done in our workshop, at our quayside units, but on-site is also possible. We carry out repair and maintenance work on all sorts of machines and low loaders, regardless of make. We possess fully equipped service vans and an expert and experienced service team that is ready to serve you 24 hours a day. But we also supply parts for all common makes of machine.

Repairs and malfunction

You must be able to rely on your equipment at all times. If the technology lets you down, you can depend on our engineers to help, either in our workshops or on-site. If you’ve suffered a malfunction, then call us on +31 (0)118 611 351 (also available outside office hours).

We carry out repair and maintenance work on all sorts of machines and low loaders, regardless of make. We have a well-equipped workshop and fully kitted out service vans. Our well-trained and experienced service team is ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also supply parts for all common makes of machine that can be collected from us or, if required, shipped to you directly.

Cabin inspections (ROPS certification)

In addition to crane and construction machine inspections, we also carry out ROPS inspections. When a machine is modified, safety standards and the Machinery Directive require retesting and recertification.

The construction machines department specialises in modifying cabins, both raising and lowering them, and can also provide ROPS certification. A ROPS inspection involves testing whether or not a cabin can absorb a roll of the complete machine. On site in Middelburg, we have our own setup for ROPS testing. After completion of the test and Aboma approval, an EC declaration of type inspection is issued and you can be sure of the necessary legal cover for the modified machine.

Overhaul

We carry out complete overhauls, giving your construction machine a whole new lease of life in an as-new condition. But you might also opt for partial modifications.
